My filled with happiness life

"What if the world was crazy and I was sane Would it be so strange I can't believe that I am alone in saying The things I'm saying I am - part of you These are - universal truths We're all - part of the light that flows through everything" -Cher ! "It proves that you are unusual," said the Scarecrow, "and in my opinion being unusual is one of the best things in the world. For the common folks are like the leaves on a tree, and live and die unnoticed." -excerpt from "The Land of Oz"

I am so much happier with my new schedule! my new calc teacher is really good. I felt a connection with her through her teaching. She cared and could articulate it well. The other teacher it seemed like she was just there, didnt care and was just throwing stuff up on the board. Im free for the rest of the day and not sure what I am going to do for the rest of the day. I would love to go S4 tonight and see Aspen perform but not sure who with. Possibly I can figure something out. It would be good since I dont have class until 1230 tommorow. Claudia has to work at 530am tommorow (ugh that is an ungodly hour). I was joking with her and was like well thats great girl. You go to club, dance all night, sleep in your car and then you are already so close to your work! she works at the wyndham anatole gym in Dallas. I think I am off to go buy more text books. FUN FUN! the process of buying textbooks is such a hassle and so expensive. It is about $450-over $500 a semester and then most times the books change edition for the next semester so they wont buy them back!

pictures from last wed at s4

heres some of the pictures. more to come later
will i get to go this week? will i not? I dont know but I want to.

oh great news too! so my math teacher I was really concerned about having her as my teacher because of some review on pickaprof.com that I had read.
let me quote

" Strengths
Is very smart.
Drawbacks
She cannot teach for anything. people should be paid to not take her class. You will work your but off, fail the tests and homework, and she will blame you for not "putting in enough effort." unless you have 5 hours a day to spend on the material she assigns, do not take her. She throws everything up on the board and then lets class out early... which is nice, but not good if you want any hope of comprehending the material for the test. Tests are the hardest problems she can find in the book or that she made up because the ones in the book are not challenging enough. She sucks and cannot teach. Save your time and pick someone else." - 04/19/2005

after reading that and seeing that only 13.3% of students made an A in her class, I wanted someone else!
I really want to get a teacher named Mary Teel instead but her class was completely full yesterday. Today, however, someone apparently dropped her class and now I have my slot in the class! Yay!

our history is shown too and tidbits about my first day of school

So today is the first day of the fall 2005 semester. I have an 8am class and as chase would say "yuck". Suprisingly though, I did not have a hard time waking up this morning at all. Well I am sitting there in class and really hoping I get an exciting teacher because I need something to keep me awake at 8am. I am so not a morning person. In walks, this blonde woman who looks like Renee Zellwigger(sp) who is actually my teacher. She was really animated and lively so like Im psyched. I am thinking hey this class isnt going to be this bad. She talks about the definition of history and finding a connection with history. She started to talk about how their are different groups who are culturally underepresented in history and how she strives to show their history as well. She starts to talk about woman in history and how Jane Austen didnt really have interests in history because she found no one she could relate to in history. Im thinking yea, yea woman but what about the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgendered community? Where am I represented in history? She starts to do a slide show of pictures of different people without the names and then asking the class who the person is. She starts off with George Washington which everyone knows, then martin luther king, jr, rosa parks, another female in history who was the fourth first lady, and then suprise, matthew shephard. I was so pleasantly shocked. Only a few people knew who he was ,but It was a big deal to me that she included him in the group of people. I felt like wow, it shows she cares and is not going to just skip over the lgbt community in history. We wont be forgotten like I had assumed. Many times people speak of minorities in classes like women, african americans, asians, native americans, hispanics but never mention lgbt minority group. I am so in the right class! She also mentioned that she has ADD just like me which I thought was really cool! I went to intro to design class which was just a basic everyone introduces themselves and then a brief overview of the class. Barbara Cox teaches it and I love her! Well one more class today which is Bus Calc(hopefully will go better the second time around) and Im really hoping I get a teacher I can understand. Then tonight is our 4095 meeting at 630 and our major minor meeting at 7.

Well thats all for now. Maybe ill write more later!
Hugs!

Wed at S4

Last night was my first wednesday to go to S4 in a long time. It was alot of fun. Claudia, Noi, Byron and I all went together. They were all S4 virgins so it was really fun showing them the club. We watched the show which was great. We walked into the rose room and Krystal Summmers was performing (what a way to start a night). Krystal, Chanel, Asian O'Harra, Heather Skyy and a few other girls performed. Krystal had her best chest or best dancer contest which was alot of fun to watch. We danced the night away and had a blast. I really want to go next Wed and see Aspen perform but not sure who I can go with (since I dont have a car). Claudia starts working at 530am every thursday from now on I think so she couldnt go out on wed night. We took alot of pictures so when they get developed Ill post them.

Proud of it!

so I called my friend Eric's home number last weekend cuz I was trying to get ahold of him before I went off to the dorms and couldnt reach him him on his cell. Well he had moved which I knew but I thought the number might be the same since you can do that now I think at least. anyways it wasnt and someone else was living there. I got their voicemail and hung up. Well The lady who lived there now called me back and I didnt answer it so it went to my voicemail. My new voice message says yea youve reached the right person but youve reached me at a wrong time etc. anyweays she left me a message which said "well whoever you was you called the wrong number (pause) and please dont call here again (medium length pause) sound gay as hell! (in a reall country accent, it was an old country white woman)" . When I first heard the message, I was offended like how rude! but then I got to thinking well its true I guess I am gay as hell!i thought it was funny then! I think Im going to get a shirt made that says "someone told me I am gay as Hell"!

Thanks Jordan!

I was laying on my bed when I thought of my friend Seth which led me to think of my friend Jordan. Ok when I first started going to S4(it was villlage station back then), I would dance, dance, dance all night long. I also used to complain about how they didnt play enough rap music cuz like I went through this phase when that was mainly what I listened to. I still listen to rap but my taste has varied alot and I love dance music and the music S4 plays. Well anyway, so I used to dance and never go up to the rose room. I didnt even know what the rose room was. My friend Jordan told me I should really go check it out and that he thought I would really like it (I dont think he had any clue how right he was). Well at first, I kinda ignored his suggestion but I finally checked it out. It was on a thursday I think (cuz back then I was 18 and this was before VS had it 18 and up all nights and thursdays and sundays I think were 18 and up) and it was Valerie Lohr's Amatuer night. I remember watching as Valerie, Landry, Chanel and awhole host of other queens performed.I was mesmerized. After that, I always went up to the rose room and then danced later after the show.I was hooked. Well the rest is all history and most of you who read this blog regurlarly or know me personally, know that now I am a "rose room groupie" (lol). If it wasnt so late at night, I would call Jordan right now and thank him for introducing me to the world of drag but it is too late so Im just gonna thank him on here for now. Goodnight Rudicus! Goodnight Kelly! Goodnight Aspen! (just kidding, this is not the Waltons) Goodnight everyone!

today on our menu: fish

Mood: Happy
Song Im listening to now: Free your mind by En Vogue (of course! lol!)

Krystal Summers, your waitress today, serves nothing but fish! Damn! I love this picture! My Idol! (star struck gaze into the air!)

Im done with American Sign Language. Took the final today and think I did well. We will see. Im kinda sad that the class is over because I really enjoyed it. Well, I still have ASL 2,3, and 4 so its not over really! The teacher was so excellent though! I strongly recommend him for anyone who wants to take ASL!

Saw Online that Michelle Clunie (Melanie) and Gale Harold are in a movie together titled "The unseen". unfortunately couldnt find much info about it but looks like it will be release 2005.

Sharon Gless in new show "Thick and Thin" on NBC.

Coming up for mid-season is the sitcom "Thick and Thin," which is the story of a formerly overweight young woman (JESSICA CAPSHAW) who's learning how to feel comfortable in her newly svelte body, while dealing with her overweight mother (SHARON GLESS) and sister (AMY HALLORAN). For Sharon, this particular show has a resonance, since weight is an issue that she has had to deal with as an actress.

"After 'Cagney & Lacey,' I put on a lot of weight, and the reaction in Hollywood was horrible," she recalls. "It's one of the reasons I want to do the show, because I've been there and back. I've been all over. They handle it so beautifully on the show, and it's also very funny. I asked my husband, I said, 'Why is everybody going after me? Tyne Daily and I are the same size.' He said, 'Honey, they can't forgive the blonde. You broke their heart.'"

born boys?

I think not. Mimi(winner of the world's most beautiful transexual contest) and Erica Andrews( the current reigning Miss Continental) look so fish here just like two ordinary gals. True Beauty. Stunning. When were they ever boys?

I love this picture. It is so fun. Makes me want to go put a wig on, hire some dancers and put together a talent! I can not wait til the day that I get to enter my first pageant. Im not ready for that yet but I am going to get back into performing when school resumes in the fall. Hopefully I will get to perform a lot and really get lots of practice on molding my look, moves and stage persona. Has anyone heard the song "Please" by Toni Brazton. OOOO I love this song. I think it is a great drag song. I might perform it with her other song "He wasnt man enough for me". Well im off to grab some lunch and head back to the sign language lab. Until next time, remember that your dreams are right within your reach if you keep on trying.
