Today is such a nice day outside! I love it! My first production meeting is today at 5! Yay! Go outside, enjoy the weather, take a walk! *Smile*!

Brand New Semester! Spring 2005 begins!

So I am so excited about this new semester. It will be very busy for me and I cant wait! I got the official word today that I will be the assistant makeup designer for Cleansed! I am also taking costume class which requires me to do a minimium of 39 lab hours outside of class and a costume run crew for a production. I am also taking History of Costume and Decor. Then, Jerry and I are taking Music and the Human Imagination together. I am taking World Lit too. Today I have my 1095 meeting tonight at 6. This past weekend was wonderful spending quality time with Jerry. Next weekend, I hope we are able to get together with Nancy. It has been awhile since I have seen her.

developing myself

This year, I want to grow, develop and work on perfecting my craft as a female impersonator. I would like to make great strives this year but believe that I will always keep growing and taking it to the next level. Stop learning, you stop living!

I want to study different types of dance too, such as hawain dance and belly dancing to improve my abilities as an entertainer.

This year, I want to start to build a relationship with Maya Douglas. I really want her to make me a dress,anyways, because she is very artistic and makes lovely costumes. Through her making a dress for me though too, I am hoping that she will begin to get to know me and that will be the start of a personal relationship between me and her which would eventually lead to her mentoring me.
I want to get to know Krystal and Kelexis better. I have established a friendship with them and want to further this relationship. I want to ask Krystal about mentoring me but I will wait til the time is right.
I would love to do a duet of "you thought wrong"(by Kelly Clarkson and Tamyra Grey) with Allysa Edwards.

I am hoping that this is the year that I really get my name out there. Kimberly Scott. I would like to try to perform Valerie's newcomer night at least twice a month. Hopefully after winning a few times, Richard Curtain will be willing to book be for the Edna's Angel show (which would be a paid booking! and I could start doing that regurlarly). The winner on the newcomer night gets $100 and comes back the following week as the special guest. I would put that money from winning toward things like makeup, dresses, wigs, jewerlry and other things to improve myself as a female impersonator.

I feel really positive about this year and think this is going to be a great year for Kimberly! I believe my goals are accomplishable and am excited about the potential this year holds! Watch out for Kimberly Scott!

the holidays

ok so lets rewind alittle bit back to December 23, 2004.

Thursday was so much fun! Station 4 is an aweaomw new club! I love it! very industrial loft feel to it. very classy and modern. The rose room is huge. classy arena and theater with a big stage for classy queens. They were very excited to have the new space as it showed in their performance. Whitney really worked it out! Layla did "proud mary" all dressed up like tina turner doing a flawless impersonation. She was filled with so much energy which drove the crowd crazy. oh yea did I mention the club was packed? everyone and their mother was their. I saw Rhonda, Juan.Allyssa Edwards, the current reigning Miss Gay Texas America, was their as a boy (his boy name is Justin) and recognized me, came over, and gave me a hug. I ran into Anthony who told me Jordan was there. Jordan is one of my good exes and still a friend, altho we dont talk that much lately. He is a kind person. Jordan and Anthony used to date and for awhile Anthony avoided Jordan , but now they are back to being friends. I never did see the bad ex which made me pleased. Oh so back to the Rose Room, Maya and Krystal both looked stunning. Maya performed "Erotica" and Krystal did "Rumors". Cassie hosted and was consistently hillarious. Great Show! The Rose Room itself has blue lighting and beautiful paintings on the wall. I thought wow on amatuer night and maybe someday in the not so distant future in the early girly show or edna's angels show, I will be performing on that stage. The girls did a fabulous choreographed group number all dressed in matching rose outfits. I look very much forward to spending much time in this club. I missed Jerry that night. I saw this couple sitting a few rose in front of me and was like aww I wish that was me and Jerry. Of course, soon it will be. New Year's Eve is coming. Me and Jerry who may be joined by Mark and Jeremy are going on New Years Eve. I had great fun at the club and a wonderful night!

Let's fast forward to Christmas!

(I wrote this on Christmas day, I am just transfering it from paper to my blog)Christmas was very nice day spending time with family. It was just our immediate family: the 5 of us: me, my mom, my dad, jen and piper. For Christmas, I got versace blue jeans cologne, clothes, and cash. For Christmas Dinner, we had steak, lima beans, crescent rolls, cheese balls, noodles, peanuts,potatoes and green beans. We had cheesecake for desert(but not til after the movie). My dad and I got into a few small fights but we resolved them.(no hard feelings, nor did it damper the day or our wonderful memories) We saw Lemony Snicket and I loved it! So funny and was a wonderful sophisticated dark movie for children and adults alike. I strongly recommend everyone to see this movie. A+. This was a very nice Christmas that I look back on and smile. One thing was missing though: Jerry! I wish I was able to spend it with him. We will get to next year though. I just got off the phone with him actually. He misses me too.Oh how I love him so! To everyone out there reading, I send you warm wishes this holiday season. I hope it is filled with love, peace, joy, and happiness. For those of you who are not having a happy time right now due to loss of a loved one or some other hard time, I reach out and hug you. Although I am not with Jerry in flesh today, I am blessed to have him in my life as my partner. It is a great Christmas gift to have a special guy like him.
