It will always get better

So as I was walking into the cafteria at victory tonight for dinner. this sweet redhead lady who swipes ur id card who is always so nice to me asked me how I was. I said I was ok, alright, could be better. She said "it will get better. its only temporary. everything is only temporary." Shes right. While today Im down and depressed, Better days will come. you have to look torward the future and think that what your feeling now isnt permanent. things will work out eventually. Im just gonna do my best to make the best of today and get the most I can get done today and keep on, keeping on!

Kimberly returns!

Last tuesday, I performed at JRs as Kimberly which was her return because I had not performed in like a year. It was a blast. Nancy did my makeup and did a fabulous job! I got so many compliments on being flawless and fishy! I performed "Hung Up" by Madonna with a little bit of "Like it or not" mixed in! Ill have more pictures from the show soon and when I get them Ill post them online! I won 2nd place with a cash prize of $25! I was so excited! I cant wait to perform again!!!!!!

so kimberly has always been blonde! Im thinking about maybe deviating alittle from that for the show on the 22nd. My friend Abraham was telling me maybe I should be more versatile by changing colors. I am thinking of a brown or a brown with blonde highlights!




above are some of the wigs I was looking at on ebay. i am however concerned that they might not get delivered in time for the show. Id like to have someone in Dallas make a custom wig for me in order to not risk that chance. Im gonna see if Heather, Celeste or Mark can help me get a wig ready for the show on the 22nd!

sometimes I get so frustrated with having to take classes like calculus and such. I love what Im doing with being the assistant designer for the illusion and its great! I just got done with rehearsal about 30 minutes ago and wish I could go to bed now but I cant cuz I still have a calculus exam to study for and other hmwk. AHHH! I just dont see how calculus or chemistry is gonna help me with my job in the future! Anyways so Im probably not gonna sleep tonight. its one am now and my first class today is at 8am and then another at 9 and then my calculus class at 10am. I also have these sets of color problems that are due in design class at 9am which is fun but im tired!

the return of kimberly!

i will be performing at jrs on november 22nd and am so excited! I think im going to try to finish my red satin evening gown in time for it. I need to redo alittle bit of the dress, i need to sew on both sleeves, put on the zipper, and do the lining I think thats all. I could wear that dress for my first number and then strip out of it into my fall fairy dress and do a dance number perhaps.

I dont know though I just bought this great 80s vintage dress and I am loving the new madonna song "hung up". I might do that. I think my friend Mimi is gonna help me choreograph some dance stuff. I am gonna see if her and hunner will be backup dancers for me. That would be so cool.
